FAQs

What is the Thought of the Day? The Thought of the Day is a programme of quotations that will help readers in their daily activities, by encouraging a positive attitude in dealing with day-to-day challenges. What is the Thought of the Week? The Thought of the Week is an introduction to the theme of the entire week's TOD. These thoughts are reflections of life's situations, experiences, challenges and mostly the valuable lessons that they always bring. This help us have a clearer perspective on life's situations and have a better understanding of the people around us and ourselves as a person. How will it help me? TODs and TOWs will allow readers a chance to reflect on the important lessons that life brings to each and everyone of us, and at the same time it gives us a more positive approach in dealing with such challenges. Who writes these thoughts? The quotations are written by Mr Vijay Eswaran. Who receives the TODs? Mr Eswaran sends thoughts of the day to his friends, family, business associates and acquaintances, who in turn send it to 15-50 people. The core circle of influence is currently estimated to be more than 700, and this circle is growing each day. What should my response be? Read, ponder, add your own meanings and interpretations and send them out to as many people as you can. Increase the circle. The purpose is to build interaction. Mr Eswaran encourages everyone to send their responses to him directly and thereby construct a dialogue, which could lead to newer ideas that can be propagated. How do I contact the author to send my response? You could choose to email us at the address given in our contact section, or use the feedback form in the ToD link to write back.
